Dr. Barbara Siembida-Losch is serving as the CAWT’s interim Manager & Senior Scientist as CAWT Manager Jenn Paul takes a parental leave.
Barbara joined the CAWT in 2014 as a Research Scientist. Providing scientific and technical leadership, and being heavily involved in many of the CAWT’s projects since then, Barbara has become an integral part of the CAWT team.
As Manager, Barbara leads the coordination of the CAWT’s applied research and laboratory testing and certification services, and is responsible for the development, management, and operation of the CAWT. As the Senior Scientist, she supports the CAWT’s partners and clients in developing their innovative technologies and meeting their financial, environmental, and regulatory obligations.
Barbara holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Environmental Engineering from the Tadeusz Kosciuszko Cracow University of Technology in Poland; she completed her Ph.D. at the Technische Universität Darmstadt in Germany (wastewater treatment/membrane bioreactors).
