The CAWT would like to introduce and welcome our newest staff member, Hong Zhang, Ph.D., to the

Centre. We are excited to have Hong on the team to lend her expertise in disinfection byproducts, corrosion control, advanced oxidation, anaerobic sludge beds, membrane bioreactors, micropollutants, advanced analytical instrumentation, and much more.

Hong is a graduate of Nankai University in China and the University of Toronto with degrees in Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering (wastewater and drinking water). Before joining the CAWT, Hong was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Toronto.

Hong will be filling in as one of our Laboratory Technologists while Shan Shan Li is away on maternity leave. She will be helping us not only with our industry projects, but also with our upcoming ISO accreditation. Welcome, Hong!
