We are happy to announce that the registration for the Canadian Association on Water Quality’s (CAWQ) 28th Eastern Canadian Symposium, to be held Saturday, 26 October 2013 in the lovely city of Kingston, Ontario, is now open! We are also pleased to announce an extension of the submission deadline until the 15 of September. Please submit your abstracts and register using the on-line system found at http://www.cawq.ca/en/28e/ .
A tourism page has also been added on the website, which includes possible accommodation options and local/regional attraction information, so why not make a weekend out of your stay? There is no specific host hotel for the event so please feel free to choose whatever suits your fancy.
Attention to all students: the Philip H. Jones award will be presented for the top 2 student presentations. First place will receive a cash award of $300 with the runner up receiving $200, along with both winners receiving a complimentary one year membership in CAWQ.
